Building Emotional Strength & Resilience in Children

Practical, engaging social and emotional learning (SEL) programmes for children aged 7–13 that support confidence, emotional regulation, relationships, and positive engagement with learning.

Our Mission

At Elev8 Journeys Wellbeing CIC, our mission is to improve children’s social and emotional wellbeing by delivering practical, engaging, and evidence-informed SEL programmes that build confidence, emotional regulation, healthy relationships, and positive engagement with learning.

We work alongside schools, youth centres, and community organisations to create safe, supportive environments where every child—especially those facing additional challenges such as SEMH needs or SEN—can develop resilience, feel included, and thrive both in education and in life beyond the classroom.

What We Do

Elev8 Journeys Wellbeing CIC is a UK-wide Community Interest Company created to improve children’s social and emotional wellbeing through structured, evidence-informed SEL support. We work in partnership with schools, youth centres and community organisations to deliver programmes that help children understand their emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen peer relationships, and build confidence and resilience.

Our work also supports settings by improving engagement with learning, strengthening attendance, and reducing behaviour challenges that can lead to repeated disruption, exclusion, or children feeling “left behind”. We are inclusive by design, with a gentle focus on supporting children who may be experiencing additional challenges such as SEMH needs or SEN, and we prioritise a safe, supportive approach that is practical for real life in schools and families.

Engagement

Emotional Regulation

Little Timmy – The Young Champions Journey (SEL)

Our flagship programme is designed to help children develop the emotional tools and self-belief they need to navigate friendships, school pressures, and everyday challenges with greater calm and confidence.

Using engaging storybooks and workbooks, we take children on a journey of self-discovery and healing, providing early, practical support that can change the direction of a child’s life.

Every Champion needs someone in their corner

Elev8 Journeys Wellbeing CIC exists because I know what it’s like to grow up without the emotional tools and safe support that many children need. When I was younger, I didn’t have a course like this—something that could help me understand what I was feeling, express it in a healthy way, and build resilience before life got overwhelming. I found that incredibly difficult. Without that guidance, I spent years feeling lost and hopeless, and I went down the wrong path.

This is why I created Elev8 Journeys Wellbeing CIC: to give children what I didn’t have. Our courses use storybooks and workbooks to take children on a journey of self-discovery and healing, helping them build emotional regulation, confidence, resilience, and stronger relationships.

It's early, practical support that can change the direction of a child's life—at school, at home, and in the wider world.

The Need for Change

Elev8 Journeys Wellbeing CIC was formed because too many children are struggling with emotional regulation, confidence, and connection—and the impact shows up in classrooms, at home, and in wider community life.
